About Alejandra
Hello! My name is Alejandra, and I am a native Spanish speaker from Mexico now living in England.
With over 7 years of teaching experience, I have mainly worked as an SEN (Special Educational Needs) teacher, supporting students with diverse learning needs as part of my main profession. Alongside this, I have taught English as a second language to students from different cultural backgrounds and language levels during after-school sessions. These experiences have helped me develop a patient, adaptable, and student-centred teaching approach.
I am passionate about helping people discover the confidence and enjoyment that comes with learning a new language. I believe that every student learns differently, so I focus on creating supportive and engaging lessons that are adapted to individual goals, abilities, and learning styles.
As a native Spanish speaker, I am now also beginning to share my knowledge of Spanish with students who want to learn the language, whether they are complete beginners or looking to improve their communication skills. My aim is to make language learning practical, enjoyable, and confidence-building for every student.

My teaching approach is based on creating a comfortable, supportive, and personalised learning environment where students can improve their language skills with confidence. I adapt my lessons to each student’s goals, level, learning style, and interests.
I use a communicative approach, focusing on real-life conversations, pronunciation, vocabulary building, and practical exercises. My lessons include speaking practice, listening activities, reading, and writing tasks to help students develop all areas of the language. I believe that making mistakes is an important part of learning, so I encourage students to speak as much as possible and build confidence naturally.
Lessons are typically 50 minutes long, but I can adapt the duration depending on the student’s needs and goals.
My lessons are suitable for teenagers, and adults who want to learn Spanish for travel, work, personal development, or everyday communication. Whether you are starting from zero or looking to improve your fluency, I will create lessons that match your objectives and help you progress step by step.
