About Anna
Hi! My name is Anna, and I was born and raised in the United States to parents who immigrated from Kyrgyzstan. Growing up in a bilingual household allowed me to become fluent in both Russian and English, and it gave me a deep appreciation for language, culture, and connecting with people from different backgrounds.
I have always had a passion for teaching and genuinely enjoy helping others learn. I especially love working with children and strive to create a positive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to strengthen your Russian speaking, reading, or writing skills, I’ll tailor each lesson to your individual goals and learning style.
Outside of tutoring, I work at a bank, enjoy playing sports, and stay actively involved in my church community. These experiences have helped me develop patience, strong communication skills, and a dependable work ethic that I bring to every lesson.
