About Dylan
Hi, I'm Dylan. I'm a professional photographer and artist in NYC, working primarily in the blue chip art market. My clients range from the likes of Jeff Koons, Julie Mehretu, and Julian Schnabel to galleries such as Pace, Gagosian, Marian Goodman, and museums like MOMA, and The Whitney. For work I specialize in reproduction, installation and media production of fine art and artifacts. My work is found in many publications, books and media and my personal artwork has exhibited both domestically and internationally. I have 2 degrees in Fine art and Art History and I'm an MFA graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology in Photography and Related media. I have worked with the world's top artists and institutions and have an inside view of how they make work and how the gallery system works. I love my academic art background and continue to write about contemporary art. Im friendly and excited to work with you to define your vision and push you to achieve your goals.

Critique is a unique skill, I will push you to make your images reflect what you say they are about. If you want a true academic experience it's irrelevant as to whether I like your images or anyone else does as well, what matters is that the viewer sees what you are expressing through them. My only goal is to push for your work and what you say its about to match, that's the mark of a successful artist. Learning will be outlining your goals, critiquing your work and teaching you the technical skills necessary to make the images you want to make. What is your artistic vision, what do you want to say ? Let's work together to push your work as far as you can go.
Whether you are a beginner or advanced image maker, I will help you learn to make the images that reflect your own personal vision. If you are an advanced photographer I can give you vital feedback as to your conceptual concerns and the technical quality of your images. Beginners will can build skills and explore image making through practice and assignments, together we can hone in and develop your visual voice.
What sets me a part ? I've put the work in, academically and professionally, Some of the world's top artists, galleries and museums rely on me for content and expertise. I enjoy teaching and working with people and I would love to connect with people who want to dive into the world of photography.
