About Maria
Hi! I'm a university student in Manchester currently studying Biotechnology. Alongside my academic journey, I’ve always had a love for learning across many subjects and an even bigger passion for teaching others whether it’s been piano, maths, or biology. Now, I’m excited to bring that enthusiasm into teaching Portuguese, my native language. Having grown up in Portugal, I not only speak the language fluently but also understand the culture it represents. I'm committed to making learning enjoyable, supportive, and tailored to your individual needs!

Maria has helped me learn Portuguese to a very decent standard in only a month. She focuses on teaching every day Portuguese rather than what you’d never use that language apps teach.
