About Bear
My photography journey began in 1995, driven by a passion for visual storytelling and a deep curiosity about people, places, and the power of the image. What started with film, darkrooms, and developing techniques soon evolved into a lifelong career that has spanned decades of creative growth, industry change, and technological advancement.
In the early years, I honed my craft across a broad range of photographic styles—portraits, events, commercial, and editorial work—building a solid reputation for delivering high-quality, impactful imagery. I embraced the digital revolution early on, which allowed me to adapt quickly, stay competitive, and continue to offer clients cutting-edge results with a creative edge.
Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide variety of clients—from local businesses to national brands—capturing everything from headshots and high-end products to advertising campaigns and live events. My work has consistently reflected a blend of technical skill, artistic intuition, and a deep understanding of how to visually communicate a message or emotion.
I’ve owned and operated a successful photography studio, trained aspiring photographers, led creative workshops, and produced content for both digital and print platforms. Many of my clients have become long-term collaborators, which speaks to the trust I’ve built through professionalism, consistency, and a genuine passion for the job.
Photography has not only been a career but a platform for continuous learning, reinvention, and connection. As the industry evolved, so did I—expanding my offering to include video, social media content, and creative direction, always staying ahead of trends while staying true to my visual roots.
Today, I continue to work as a freelance photographer and creative consultant, collaborating with businesses, creators, and entrepreneurs who value strong visual identity and authentic storytelling. With over 25 years of experience behind the lens, I remain just as excited by the next shot as I was back in 1995.
