About Alicia
○ I am both a native French speaker and a qualified, experienced and passionate language teacher! ○ Since 2018, I have been teaching French, English and Norwegian, mainly online. ○ I have lived and studied in France and Norway, then I've worked in the Netherlands and in Spain, in secondary schools. ○ I speak French, English, Norwegian, Spanish and I'm currently learning Italian. ○ I have around 1,200 hours of private tuition under my belt, from the age of 8 to 67! ○ My interests are: Books, travelling, psychology, spirituality, animals and nature, vegetarianism/veganism, drawing, painting and crafts, esotericism, personal development, board and card games, hiking, mountains... I'm a curious and open-minded person, whatever the subject!

My courses are aimed at beginners to intermediate levels. Here's what I offer: ★ If you're a beginner, don't be afraid, just go for it! Norwegian is not rocket science. I will quickly provide you with the basics you need to get by and have simple conversations. ★ If you already have some knowledge, and especially if you have been learning Norwegian in a self-taught way (with apps for example), I'm here to help you organise, consolidate and expand your knowledge but also... to finally make you practise! In any case, we learn better when we are having a good time. So, forget the language lessons you may have had in your school years: I propose you to learn in a way that is as entertaining as can be, that's how we learn best (that's not just me saying it, it's science too!). I’ve been taking French lessons with Alicia for a year and I look forward to them every week. She quickly assessed my level and figured out a teaching style that suits me down to the ground.
