About Hyesoo
I’m a graduate of Ringling College of Art and Design, where I studied Virtual Reality Development and worked extensively with 3D art and real-time development. I have hands-on experience using Maya, Substance Painter, and Unreal Engine to create 3D assets and interactive experiences.
Having learned these tools through both coursework and real projects, I understand how overwhelming 3D software can feel when you’re starting out. I enjoy breaking down complicated workflows into clear, manageable steps and helping students understand not just which buttons to press, but why each step matters.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s experience level and goals, whether you are completely new to 3D or want to improve specific skills. I can guide you through 3D modeling in Maya, UVs, texturing with Substance Painter, and preparing and importing game-ready assets into Unreal Engine. Rather than simply following tutorials, we’ll work through practical projects together so you understand the full workflow and can eventually create independently.
