About Moira
I possess over a decade of experience as a learning specialist specializing in Language Acquisition. Throughout my career, I have successfully catered to a diverse range of students across various educational levels, encompassing adult learners as well. My instructional approach emphasizes the cultivation of transferable skills applicable across different subjects, encompassing techniques such as annotation, note synthesis, effective brainstorming, and structured writing outlines. By honing these fundamental skills, my students are equipped to explore unfamiliar concepts independently and actively participate in their academic pursuits.
After 11 years of creating my own curriculum with English Language Learners in mind, I have adapted my lessons to meet needs in English, Science, Math and Social studies.
