About Kumiko
I was born in Japan and raised in Japan until the age of 7. At home, I speak in Japanese and English, Japanese is my first language.
I love my culture, especially manga and anime. I have helped lots of friends learn Japanese, even my fiance who is picking up lots of phrases.

I want the students to know Japanese culture as well as language by showing a short presentation and pictures.
I also have Japanese picture books as well which will be useful during the lessons. If the student is interested, I could teach Japanese songs as well from nursery rhymes to pop songs.
I am happy to teach to write, speak, read and listen in Japanese to any level and age group from children to adults, depending on what students want to learn.
If they are unsure, I will try and plan something that is suitable for their level.
I will note what the student learnt in the lesson and write down what needs to be done by the next lesson as well.
I am flexible with time so I am happy to negotiate with the student.

Perfect! Kumiko is very patient.
I was just looking to know a few basics in a short time before my visit to Japan.
