About Katherina
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy from Universidad del Salvador, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, one of the first Latin American universities to offer the program. There I was a TA for two years, where I supervised the student's clinical practices.
I have two years of experience working on recreational and clinical settings with adults with moderate to severe Intellectual Disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy and Psychosis.
I have completed an internship as a Music Teacher Assistant in Special Education.
I have volunteered on a group home where I worked with children between the ages of 4 and 13.
My primary instrument is the guitar. I also sing, and play the ukulele. I play the piano, the percussion and the flute on a beginner's level per requirement to graduate from my university.
I speak English and Spanish (fluently) and Portuguese (intermediate level).

For individual lessons the focus will be on the student's own interests. Based on them, we can design an action plan to achieve your goals in a time frame that is appropriate.
For group lessons, we will cover some basic music theory concepts as well as how to use the app. There will also be an additional space to share with peers your work and be offered feedback.
The group course has a duration of 8 classes (1 hour). You can opt to take 1 class per week for two months or two classes per week for a month.

Perfect! Katherina was outstanding. She patiently worked with me to discuss the audio home environment project I wanted to execute with my PC and Keyboard, and performed appropriate inquiries and checks of the software that had to be downloaded in advance of installation date to insure 100% preparedness.
