About Nathan
Piano Lab COS's Piano Instructor, Nathan Farrell, is a classically trained pianist, having taken piano lessons himself since the age of 5. He played jazz trombone in his high school band, touring Europe at the age of 16. In 2007, he attended the New Life School of Worship and received his Certification as a Worship Pastor with a specialty in Piano, Vocals, & Leadership.
Born & raised in Colorado Springs, Nathan grew up in a home that cultivated a love for music. He's been singing around the dinner table since before he can remember, is proficient in 7 different instruments (although the piano is his first love), and music continues to be a driving force and a great passion in his life.
If he's not at church, teaching piano lessons, or with his family, you can find him volunteering his time and talent with local businesses and non-profits, jamming with buddies, or geeking out over the latest and greatest music technology with anyone who will listen to him.

Not everyone learns the same way - we offer lessons that best suit your needs. Private instruction, traveling/in-home, & online/virtual piano lessons. Looking for classical, band, pop, chord, or jazz instruction? We teach it all!
We begin young and new musicians with the Faber Piano Adventures curriculum. Intermediate & students aged 11 and up will work in genres of music that interest them while continuing to build level-appropriate piano skills.
