About Scott
I'm a technical writer who spent more than 10 years in academia teaching at college and universities. I used to be a reporter for a small newspaper, so I know how to make writing interesting. I have a bachelor's degree in journalism and two master's degrees that cover Applied Linguistics, Education, and Technical Communication.

I draw on my experience teaching at colleges and universities. Students bring me their topics. Then I help them dig into those topics by walking through research that critical thinkers do to make their papers "deep" and stand out from the "average" paper. Then I work with them on making the paper "sing," helping the students to find a voice and style that's distinctive that teachers and profs will remember.
