About Inara
Teaching guitar for over 4 years has shown me how deeply music connects to imagination. I hold a BM in Studio Music and Jazz (Guitar Principal) and specialize in performance and composition for media. My lessons cover Electric, Acoustic, Classical, and Bass Guitar, helping students develop versatility and creativity. We explore film scoring and video game soundtracks through themes, motifs, and textures. I guide students in using DAWs to record and produce their compositions. My approach blends classical musicianship with modern sound design. Lessons are collaborative, adapting to each learner’s goals and pace. I teach both young musicians and adults passionate about storytelling through music. We focus on technique, tone, and creative thinking. I aim to inspire a balance between precision and imagination. My teaching approach turns rhythm into a strength every guitarist can rely on. I teach rhythm guitar techniques that improve strumming, picking, and timing with clarity. I use a mix of structured drills and song-based examples to reinforce skills. Picking dynamics and tempo control are practiced across multiple styles. The Fingerstyle Enthusiast learns subtle timing and tone balance. The Worship Leader builds strong rhythm for leading ensembles with confidence. I offer consistent feedback to help each learner grow intentionally. Lessons are flexible, supporting personal pace and musical goals. We focus on rhythm as a bridge between technique and creativity. Groove, timing, and touch come together to make your playing sound effortless. By the end of each session, you’ll not only keep the beat—you’ll make it groove.
