About Felix
As a native French and English speaker, I grew up in a bilingual household in France before moving to London, where I have lived for many years. I obtained my BaccalaurΓ©at (French equivalent of A-levels) with the International British Option (OIB), which combines the French and British curricula, while also studying for A-levels through online distance learning. I still travel back to France regularly and stay closely connected to French culture, which I love bringing into my lessons!
As a Royal Academy of Music graduate, I also teach music to students of all ages. This experience has taught me a great deal about teaching a language, as both disciplines overlap in many ways: the importance of consistent practice, of developing listening as a crucial skill, and above all, the confidence to simply give it a go! ;-)
Whether youβre preparing for an exam, a work trip or even a holiday, my aim is for you to progress through practice, at your own pace... and with a bit of fun along the way! Regardless of your level, your age or your objectives, my teaching approach revolves around three fundamental principles: lessons that are personalised, interactive, and enjoyable!

β Depending on your needs, we can focus on writing or speaking, expression or comprehension, vocabulary or grammar. We can go over a particularly tricky grammar rule, or look at a bigger project youβre currently working on.

β It is through practice that grammar comes to life, that vocabulary becomes concrete and most importantly, that you build real confidence.
β That's why I build every lesson around interactive activities: simulation exercises, debates, discussions... Every topic we cover becomes an opportunity to put what you've learnt into practice straight away. Even a simple chat about the film you watched last weekend is valuable!

β I always connect the topics we cover to the world around us, so that learning French feels relevant and rewarding rather than purely abstract! For each topic, we work with real, authentic material: clips from French films or shows, songs, current affairs...
