Hi, my name is Katie and I am a teacher from Ireland. I have been teaching for 7 years and specialize in Food Studies and Business.
My lessons last 1 hour. I have taught students who are mainly between the ages of 12-18 however, I am open to teaching younger students and adults also.
My experience includes teaching students from the ages of 12-18 in high schools as well as working at an International Summer School in the UK teaching students English and organizing excursions. I have also tutored students outside of the classroom on a 1:1 basis.
With my experience in teaching English to students whose first language is not English, I try to make my lessons interactive and engaging. As a native English speaker with a Bachelor of Education degree, I believe that making lessons fun and interesting can help facilitate the learning process.
