About Iciar
English teacher with 4 years of experience in cultural centers and private classes (individual and group), double degree in Journalism and Audiovisual Communication, I discovered my true vocation in teaching after living several years abroad. Recently undertaken a Masters Degree in Teacher Training for the speciality of English, I continue training to teach my classes with the best and most innovative methodologies.

My maxim is that if the learning process is not attractive, then there is no learning at all. After my experience as an English student in which the true value of learning this language was not transmitted to me and, after discovering for myself the importance of being able to communicate with the rest of the world, I adopted ACTIVE and SIGNIFICANT LEARNING as the cornerstone of my classes. The student must be the main actor of the learning process, while the teacher must be the one who guides him through the process by carrying out meaningful activities. By this I mean that all the material and exercises that are carried out must be related to a real use of the language, in real situations and contexts, so that the student is able to see its usefulness and can implement them in any situation that may arise Thus, my classes are very dynamic and have countless audiovisual resources, role plays, games, etc.
