Jalani is awesome! He created the most beautiful mural for our school! He was eager to hear our ideas and incorporate them into his design. He truly represented the core values of our community in his artwork. I am so thankful that he was able to give back to a community he cares so much about through his work! He is the best!

Jalani brings a wonderful combination of creative spirit, genuine enthusiasm, and a kind heart to every project. We had the pleasure of working with him to bring two murals to life at our school, and throughout the process, he demonstrated not only remarkable artistic talent, but also patience, collaboration, flexibility, and an ability to bring ideas to life in ways that engaged and inspired others. These same qualities translate beautifully into teaching, where his creativity, encouragement, and supportive nature can help students feel comfortable exploring their own ideas and developing their artistic voices. Students who work with Jalani can expect not only to strengthen their artistic skills, but also to feel inspired, valued, and confident throughout the learning process.

Jalani is an upbeat, positive artist that I have known for many years. His work is grounded in a sense of community, love, tolerance, and respect. Jalani worked with my middle school students to conceive and plan a mural for our building that showcases these ideas and intertwines them with our school's focus on Mindfulness, Understanding, Safety, Teamwork, Accountability, Nobility, and Growth! I heartily endorse Jalani and encourage others to work with him to make art more accessible and universal!

It should be noted that I first knew/met Jalani when he was a student in my 9th grade English class. This was about 15 years ago. He was very much into art, even back then! Jalani was considerate of others, mature for his age, and was an important member of my class community. Fast forward and he contacted me because he was interested in painting a mural at KHS. We met a few times to discuss possible ideas and then he started his work. Needless to say, it came out beautifully and many people comment on the quality and message. Although I don't know Jalani as a teacher/professor, I think he would be excellent in this role. He is positive, encouraging, and confident in himself. I was also a guest on his podcast and he prepares questions, topics, and encourages discussion- even if there is disagreement.
