About Liz
I am a Brazilian singer born in Natal (Brazil), I lived in Rio de Janeiro(Brazil) for ten years and now I am based in NYC. I've been working with Brazilian Music as singer and teacher for 16 years. I performed at several Jazz Festivals and Clubs around the World such as Birdland (New York), Mezzrow (New York), Punta del Este Jazz Festival (Uruguay), Rigas Ritmi Jazz Festival (Latvia), Cotai Jazz and Blues Festival (Macao) and Blue Note Rio (Brazil) to name a few. I am also graduated in Brazilian Literature and Portuguese language.

I believe that each voice is a unique and beautiful instrument and that everybody is able to sing. Singing is much more than matching pitch, our voice is a tool of emotional and ideological engagement. During our classes we will work your vocal needs using the Brazilian Music as a background. We will work some Vocal Techniques focuses on the Brazilian repertoire. We will work on your accent, diction and articulation and also how to engage the audience improving your stage presence.
