About Daniel
As a self-taught producer with nearly a decade of experience, my work and teaching focus heavily on the art of sampling. Through years of hands-on experimentation, I have developed nuanced techniques for chopping, flipping, and creatively reworking samples to capture the feel and groove of classic and modern boom bap. I am a dedicated student of hip hop with a strong understanding of how sample-based production has evolved from the 1990s to today. My lessons are taught with patience, professionalism, and a deep respect for the culture, helping students build a strong foundation in sampling-focused hip hop production.

I take a structured yet creative approach to teaching music production, designed specifically for beginners. Lessons follow a 10-week course (2 hours/week) that covers sampling techniques, ear training to creatively flip samples, intentional drum selection, and using effect plugins to add character and uniqueness to sounds. Each lesson combines explanation, hands-on practice, and real-world examples. What sets me apart is my 9 years of self-taught experience and my focus on teaching students how to think like a producer, not just follow steps. These lessons are ideal for beginners with little to no experience who want to learn boom bap and hip hop production from the ground up.
