About Maryam
Hi! I’m a friendly and supportive tutor who loves making Statistics / Probability easier to understand. I know numbers and formulas can feel intimidating at first, but with the right approach, they can actually be interesting — and even fun! My lessons are designed to make statistics less overwhelming and more practical. Each session is tailored to your goals, whether that’s preparing for exams, getting through assignments, or building long-term skills for study and work.
I usually start by getting a sense of your current level and what you’d like to achieve. From there, we create a plan together so lessons are focused and relevant. In each session, I’ll give a short overview of the key theory, then guide you through practice problems at different levels of difficulty. This way, you’ll build confidence step by step.
For high school students, I recommend regular weekly sessions to track progress and strengthen understanding. For university students, I adjust lessons to your course and schedule so we can make the best use of your time and cover the most important topics.
Along the way, you’ll also learn problem-solving skills and practical applications of statistics — from probability and hypothesis testing to regression analysis and data visualization. These are valuable tools not just for exams, but also for real-world fields like data analytics, business, and research.
Most importantly, I aim to keep lessons supportive, interactive, and engaging. Statistics doesn’t have to be scary — with the right approach, it can be a powerful skill to master.
