• When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?

  My interest in mechanical engineering began during my undergraduate studies when I was first exposed to real-world product design and manufacturing processes. I was fascinated by how theoretical concepts could be transformed into functional mechanical systems. This curiosity grew stronger during my Master of Engineering (Automotive) at the University of Windsor, where I worked on advanced design and analysis projects. Since then, engineering has become both my profession and my passion.

• What makes you passionate about your subject?

  What excites me most about engineering is problem-solving and innovation. I enjoy breaking down complex problems and developing practical, efficient solutions. Seeing a design evolve from concept to production is extremely rewarding. I am also passionate about sharing this knowledge and helping students build strong fundamentals in design, CAD, and engineering principles.

• What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?

  I genuinely enjoy tutoring because it allows me to make complex topics simple and approachable. Every student learns differently, and I take pride in adapting my teaching style to match their needs. With over 9 years of industry experience in mechanical design, CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, CREO), and manufacturing, I bring real-world insights into my lessons. • Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.

  Yes — throughout my academic journey, I was fortunate to have professors who emphasized conceptual clarity over memorization. One of my mechanical design professors greatly influenced me by encouraging analytical thinking and attention to detail. Their teaching style showed me how powerful good mentorship can be, and it inspired me to support students in the same way.
