I met Josh through a mutual friend, and had the opportunity to learn Blender for complete newbies from him. Josh is very charismatic, witty, knowledgeable and patient as an educator and is always open for questions, advice, or simply wanting a more easy to digest explanation of complex topics.
All in his approach allows for fast progression with the understanding that more complexity can or will become relevant in the future, but isn't inherently vital or worth stressing about prematurely.
