About Flynn
Hi! My name is Flynn, and I am a 24-year-old MD/Ph.D. Student in the field of Clinical Microbiology. I am originally from Berlin, Germany, but am half American. Before medical school, I became a licensed paramedic, assisting in a variety of community events and emergency situations. I am passionate about teaching, and have been a Teacher's Assistant in "First Aid and Elements of Nursing" for first-year medical students, as well as am currently a teacher of Clinical Microbiology to third-year medical students. I have been tutoring for approximately 6 years, starting in my final year of high school where I would tutor younger students. My classes are online, where I utilize a variety of websites, platforms and visual aids to help with understanding the broader picture, to ensure effective memorization and comprehension of the given subject. Additionally, if applicable, I will give homework and/or practice tests to help with repetition of the discussed materials. I teach: 1) Biology up to and at an Undergraduate Level (Cell biology, Physiology, General Body Anatomy, Genetics, Microbiology, Pathology, Pathophysiology) 2) Chemistry up to and at a High School Level (Organic and Inorganic chemistry, Basics of Elements, Intra/Intermolecular Bonds, Biochemistry) 3) Physics up to and at a High School Level (Newtonian Forces, Electrophysics, Magnetism) 4) Medical Subjects at an Undergraduate Level [Additionally to the subjects in the Biology Section](Pharmacology, EMT and Paramedic Subjects, Parasitology, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Cardiology and more upon request!)

He is excellent at breaking down challenging concepts in medicine and guides you in bringing your knowledge together by making connections in different fields.
He has helped me particularly with understanding microbiology in a way that makes it very easy to remember long term, and tied in the fields of pharmacology, infectious diseases as well as immunology in a very digestible way.
