About Cordelia
I achieved LTCL in violin performance at the age of 14, and have performed in 11 countries. I have participated in numerous orchestras for 11+ years. During my university years, I have played in the University of York Chamber Orchestra and led the University of York Concert Orchestra, UoY Symphony Orchestra, Leeds University Union Chamber Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra. I have a passion for orchestral playing as well as solo performance and I am always keen to discover new repertoire.

I teach beginners to grade 8 and students of all ages. I emphasise developing well-rounded musicianship in all areas, including overall violin technique, listening, sight-reading and expression. Lessons can be either 30 mins, 45 mins, or 1 hour long. My goal is always to nurture the abilities of each student, helping them to discover their own joys in playing the violin and allowing them to reach their musical goals.

Perfect! She was very good at explaining music theory. I learned things that I didn't know before, like the note before the tonic has to be 1 semi tone apart.
