About Nitya
I am a lawyer with a B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) (Constitutional law) from University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun and an LL.M. in Access to Justice from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. I practiced in Raipur District and Sessions Court. I also assisted in Arbitration proceedings in DIAC, Delhi. I worked in research areas of ESG, family law, and manager matters in organizations.
I enjoy simplifying legal concepts and making them understand the students by relating with real case studies and examples. My objective is to build strong conceptual understanding and develop analytical skills, legal reasoning for practical legal solutions.

**My teaching approach**
My teaching philosophy is centered on developing conceptual clarity, critical thinking, and analytical reasoning rather than rote memorization. Law is best understood by examining how legal principles operate in real-life situations. Therefore, I adopt an interactive, discussion-based, and case study-oriented approach that encourages students to actively engage with legal concepts.
Reading materials and discussions
Before each class, I share carefully selected reading materials, landmark judgments, statutory provisions, or articles to facilitate informed discussions. During the session, we analyze legal concepts through case studies, judicial decisions, and practical examples.
Take initiative and ask questions
Students are encouraged to explain concepts in their own words, ask questions, and participate actively in discussions to strengthen their understanding.
Writing skills
To develop legal reasoning and writing skills, I encourage students to write short articles, case comments, and analytical notes based on the topics discussed in class. Constructive feedback is provided to help improve legal analysis, research, structure, and articulation.
