About Miguel Felipe
I am a young adult, lawyer, tax master and historian from the Universidad de Los Andes. Intellectually restless and inclined to achieve results in excellence, with ease for new learning and ability for effective communication in foreign languages such as English, Italian and Japanese at medium level. Commitment and responsibility characterize my way of being, carrying out each task and assigned function in a timely, efficient and agile manner. History is my greatest intellectual passion. Since I was little I approached this social science from video games, then I went to books. I believe that anyone who wants to approach a social science should do so motivated by the desire to learn something new. My two areas of greatest interest are the Crusades and the Cold War. However, I have the knowledge to transmit an approach to the past from the ancient age to the contemporary time. When teaching, I am interested in transmitting 3 ideas: 1. The importance of details in a historical narrative. 2. Understand the historical context of an era 3. The need to improve the student's skills in terms of written and oral communication

My class planning is structured according to the student's needs and interests. From the resolution of specific questions that arise from a school or university task, to a master class on a topic that the student wants to deepen. First of all, I like to bring images of historical and archaeological objects. The story is better understood when the imagination is used. Hence my taste for connecting geography and historical narration.
