My lessons are one hour for each subject. First five minutes, talking to the student about the topic, figuring out how much they understand, their strengths and weaknesses, etc. Next 25 mins, teaching the topic from the basics, targeting the most difficult areas. Next 15 mins for an overview and restrengthening the less complicated parts. Next, I allocate 10 mins for some written work to test their knowledge. Final 5 mins for any questions or issues the pupil may have.
I like connecting with the student, as it makes it easier to teach them. I like to assign written work during each class to understand my pupils' progress. I have over five years' experience as a tutor for pupils of various ages.
