About Carrie
I use several different methods of teaching to ensure students "get" the information they need to learn. In the past, I've shown movies, played games, acted out plays and used music for students to understand the information the lesson provides. Some subjects can be difficult and using these ideas is a fun way to help a student understand and remember!

As a post-secondary instructor, my new class was initially not interested in learning anything. They really just wanted to sleep late. But, when I explained that there are things they will learn that can help them in their lives each day, they were doubtful. I asked the class if they'd like to know when they must let police officers search their cars. They all shouted, "yes!" I told them, "Week three!" They all laughed but were excited about what they were about to learn!
