About Laura
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have worked in some of London's most challenging schools, delivering group violin lessons, alongside coaching students at my private teaching practice. I teach violin, piano, cello and voice in very high-achieving schools, and coach students through the ABRSM examinations, with excellent results. I have formed and conducted 3 successful youth string orchestras, and provided coaching for string quartets and chamber ensembles. Some of my most talented pupils have achieved places at the junior conservatoires of London.
As a performer, I have played with a number of high-profile artists such as Michael Buble and Il Divo, with the Dubai String Quartet, the National Symphony Orchestra of the UAE and the Orion Orchestra. I regularly play with many UK freelance orchestras.

I teach all levels and ages. I have good experience teaching from the ages of 4-60, and from very beginners to advanced pupils.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I have prepared many students for the ABRSM examinations prep test to Diploma, and always accompany my violin/viola students on the piano for their exams. I also have experience coaching and guiding pupils through auditions for Junior Guildhall, Junior Royal College of Music, and similar programs.

I teach over Skype or FaceTime, for which I offer a 10% reduction.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
I strongly believe that anyone, of any age or life situation, is able to learn and get enormous pleasure from a musical instrument. My teaching style is holistic and I believe in a pupil-centered approach and creating a nurturing environment. I expect regular practice and a committed approach, but am extremely warm and friendly.
