About Tyra
I am a college graduate with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Latin and Classics, and I have been giving lessons for 2 and a half years! I have taught beginner-level and upper-level Latinists and my students have advanced to tutors themselves or upper-level Latinists.

I approach each topic with the same approach as I was taught: treat everyone as a beginner. I invite my students to first lead me and I offer assistance as they ask or as I see fit. I am a huge believer in offering training heels only when they are needed, therefore, I ask questions about translation that allows the student to engage with their own work.
