About Alaina
I am a passionate English tutor with over 3 years of experience working with young learners. I hold a Bachelor of Science in English Language and Professional Writing, which shaped my love for language and children’s literature. I enjoy helping children discover the joy of books. Stories can inspire creativity and confidence.
I teach emergent readers and early elementary students. Lessons focus on reading comprehension and phonological awareness. Students explore exciting picture books and practice recognizing sounds in words. We discuss characters and story ideas together.
