About Adriana
I started making my own money when I was 14 by creating not only a second hand online clothing store on Hi5 (who remembers?) and accepting my first summer job in my hometown.
My past experiences with different companies and backgrounds made me believe we are more than one profession. It also helped me to understand different sides of me. For the past 4 years. Since 2017, I've been working more in Tourism & Hospitality and discovered how one of my missions is to make people feel they belong and that there is a place to everyone in this world. Sharing my journey can be part of this mission.
Graduated in Political Science and PG in Human Resources Management. Specialized also in communication. Love hearing, creating and telling stories.
I became part of Gap Year Portugal after my own sabbatical period. Here I believe I helped several young people to get over experiences with fear, impostor syndrome and their relationship with money.
I’m a travel lover and a world citizen. I think I already backpacked to 47 countries (am I still counting?).

Spent a week teaching English in exchange of accommodation in Vietnam.

I was already in newspapers & magazines (both Portuguese and Icelandic)
Took a Gap Year after my post graduation in HR Management for self development and to "try to find myself" by getting myself even more lost (almost 6 months in Southeast Asia).
Lived in three countries besides Portugal: Georgia, France and Iceland (does working remotely in Cyprus for a month counts?).
