About Michael
I am a highly experienced musician, songwriter, and guitar instructor with a strong background in performance, recording, composition, and community engagement. Over the course of my music career, I have released 5 singles and EP projects and have spent the last four years recording professionally with Stuart at EPPS Recordings. This experience has developed my technical understanding of music production, arrangement, recording processes, and collaborative creative practice.
I perform regularly and gig weekly, which allows me to maintain strong industry knowledge, live performance skills, and a current understanding of contemporary music trends and audience engagement. I have a particular passion for songwriting and guitar, and I enjoy supporting learners to build confidence, creativity, and technical ability through music.
I have experience working with a variety of communities and individuals from diverse backgrounds and abilities. Through this work, I have developed strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create inclusive, encouraging, and learner-centered environments. I have also contributed to musical scores for film projects, which has strengthened my creativity, teamwork, and ability to work within deadlines and structured projects.

Professional guitarist, singer, and songwriter with 29 years of experience performing across a wide range of musical genres. Experienced in live performance, songwriting, recording, and audience engagement, with professionally recorded original music under the Epps Records label. Worked alongside renowned producer Stuart Epps, gaining valuable industry knowledge from a producer associated with artists such as Elton John, Oasis, Led Zeppelin, and Robbie Williams.
Five recent singles are available on major streaming platforms and have received radio play worldwide. Strong social media presence with thousands of followers across YouTube, Facebook, and other platforms. Experienced performing at live events and venues including HMV, Focus Ireland events, Acoustic Club Limerick, and the Aranmore Festival. Finalist in the Live 95FM competition with debut single and recently invited to the launch of Amplify World, co-founded by Ian Matthews of Kasabian.
Additional experience working with people of all ages, Garda vetted, and trained in voice and expressive arts through Pearl Kiely Expressive Art. Currently working on the release of a new single this summer.
