About Abha
With 18 years of experience as a performer and 8 years as a teacher, I am a dedicated practitioner of Kuchipudi with a Master of Performing Arts (MPA). My work in the arts extends beyond the stage; I am currently a Drama and Theatre teacher at a renowned IB school in Bengaluru, where I design curriculum and mentor students in performance arts.
My journey includes notable recognition, such as the Jury’s Mention award at the International Children’s Festival for my work in the film O Apara Kala, which was also nominated for the SAARC Film Festival. My choreographic portfolio ranges from classical Kuchipudi recitals to socially conscious theatre, including directing mime performances on environmental issues and collaborating on "Theatre for a Cause" projects. I focus on bringing this blend of technical precision and creative storytelling to every student I teach.
