About Katie
Im hoping to change the children’s outlook of education from boring to fun and interesting . I love to see children of all abilities growing and see their speech and understanding really develop. I’m an apprentice level 3 teaching Assistant and I’m currently on my last year of my apprenticeship . I also have a level 3 health and social care qualification . The schooling environment is amazing however it isn’t always the most effective way of learning for some children. Some children need that little bit of extra support and most schools simply haven’t got the staff to.

My lessons would involve my own set out speech and language programme based off of the NELI speech and language programme . I would perform listening and reading activities and would make the session interactive . My session length would usually be around half an hour but can be altered depending on the session. My sessions will occur both at the weekend and out of school hours.
