About Kennidy
I am a dedicated educator and tutor with a degree in Forensic Anthropology from the University of Tennessee Knoxville and hands-on experience working as a full-time middle school substitute teacher. My background has given me strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to connect with students of different learning styles and academic levels. I strive to create a supportive and professional learning environment where students feel encouraged, respected, and confident in their abilities. By combining patience, structure, and engaging teaching techniques, I help students strengthen their understanding of challenging material while building the confidence they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

My teaching approach focuses on patience, adaptability, and creating an engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. I use interactive teaching methods that connect lessons to real-world examples, helping students better understand and retain information. A typical lesson includes reviewing previous material, introducing new concepts through discussion or hands-on activities, guided practice, and ending with a recap to reinforce learning. What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to combine strong academic knowledge with classroom management experience, allowing me to work effectively with students of different learning styles and abilities. My lessons are primarily suited for middle school students, particularly those needing support in science, math, extra study skills, or general academic improvement.
