About Nina
Having studied English and Modern Studies to Advanced Higher level, these were the subjects I loved at school and was most passionate about. These subjects opened important doors for me and I want to pass that enthusiasm on to my students.
I take time to explore each student’s goals, strengths, and challenges and ensure each lesson is tailored to suit them. I create a supportive, relaxed environment where students feel confident to ask questions and can genuinely enjoy learning while making real progress.

I offer friendly, structured SQA Modern Studies and English tutoring, adapted to each learner’s needs and exam goals.
My teaching style focuses on clear explanations, discussion, and using exam-style questions and marking schemes to aid learning.
Lessons last 30 or 60 minutes, and can be tailored to whether the student needs in-depth learning or a quick pre-exam revision session.
I have strong subject knowledge of the Scottish curriculum and was awarded A grades in Advanced Higher Modern Studies and English. Lessons are suitable for National 4, National 5, and Higher students.
