About Leo
Professional Summary
Experienced Chinese film maker with over 8 years of experience producing and directing short films, documentaries, television shows, promo videos and music videos. Predominantly based in China with additional international professional experience in the United States of America, Europe, Asia and Australia. Currently traveling in Australia for twelve months and seeking work as film director, cameraman/ videographer or video editor. I currently hold a Working Holiday Visa (462) which allows me to stay in Australia for a year from July 11, 2019. I am also allowed to work for the same company for up to 6 months during this time
Skills
• Strong conceptual skills and ability to convey complex ideas effectively.
• Effective communication skills with clients, cast, film production companies and can build effective teams which include producers, film crew and post-production editors, sound designers etc.
• Time management skills to ensure shots are completed in a timely fashion.
• Excel at camera movement, frame composition, lighting and location set up.
• Proficient in various film editing software; Adobe Premiere, Apple Final Cut, with additional experiences in Photoshop and After Effects.
