About Zak
My name is Zak :)
I am here to help you rebuild your confidence and ability in English literature, so you can smash your goals, improve your grades, and increase you interest and passion for the subject.
I have spent 3 years volunteering as a youth leader in my church and have lots of experience working with young people :)
I received a 9/8 in GCSE English literature and language and went on to achieve an A grade in A level English. I am now studying Social Anthropology and Comparative Religion at the University of Manchester.

. My lessons typically revolve around three points; recall (from previous knowledge or lessons), teaching and finally, practice. Although I find this approach most useful, I am more than open to specific student requests, such as question help.
. I believe that English should be exciting and fun and that low confidence is a barrier to this. Therefore, I prioritise building confidence through patience and kindness. A tutor must be a friendly and trusted face first and foremost so this is what I strive to emulate.
. I focus on KS4 and GCSE preparation, but am happy to work with younger students.
