About Tom
With decades of experience, Tom Rolls has discovered very effective teaching methods saving time and energy with your practice time.
Tom was a student and later the Juggling Instructor at the prestigious Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College. Out of thousands who audition, about 30-40 were chosen to attend each year. Later, for two years, Tom had his solo juggling act at the #1 hotel in the world according to the Zagat Polls.
Tom has taught juggling skills to kids and adults in group settings and individual classes.

With juggling, like video games, you strive to reach the next level. It can be addicting…. It is basically the same mentality. You try repeatedly until you accomplish your goal and move to the next “level.” The feeling of accomplishment is the reward. Juggling is much more beneficial than playing video games when it comes to child development.
Chances are, you won’t learn to juggle in Tom’s class. Tom will teach how and what to practice and then you learn on your time. That is when you learn to juggle. Don’t expect to instantly be able to juggle balls during your first ball class. Success in juggling comes from time and repetition. It is amazing what the human body can do if repeated enough times.
Beginners:
Classes start with an “instant gratification” skill as Tom teaches how to juggle 3 shopping bags. This can be learned very quickly and begins the addiction… lol
The second class begins ball juggling and classes after that teach different juggling patterns with balls leading up to the classes that teach juggling with clubs and eventually fire torches. (Fire for adults only)
For the beginner classes you will need 3 lightweight shopping bags or juggling scarves and 3 juggling bean bags or balls. Beanbags are the best for learning. Learning with a sofa or bed in front of you is easier so you don’t bend as far to pick up the ones that drop.
Advanced Jugglers:
The first class will be an assessment of your skills and your future goals. Afterward we can work on whatever you feel you need guidance.
