My Teaching Methodology
I structure my lessons to be well-organized, engaging, and tailored to each student’s needs. Before lessons, I assess the student’s current understanding, learning style, and goals, then plan sessions with clear objectives and a logical progression. I adapt my pace and approach depending on the student, offering extra support where needed and gradually encouraging independence and confidence. I also provide exam-focused strategies when relevant, such as how to approach questions or avoid common mistakes.
Progress is measured through ongoing questioning, short tasks, and review of homework or practice questions, allowing me to identify strengths and areas for improvement. I believe encouragement, patience, and clear feedback are essential for learning, as students learn best when they feel supported, motivated, and confident to ask questions.
