About Amelia
I am a hard-working and enthusiastic medical student studying at King's College London. I have been tutoring maths for over 2 years now, and find it incredibly rewarding (and not to mention fun!) I'm here to help you meet your own goals, and achieve the grades you want.
I think that all students deserve to have a positive experience with maths, and that there is a teaching style to suit every individual.
I achieved an A* in A level maths, as well as A*s in Biology and Religious Studies, and an A in Chemistry. I also achieved ten 9's at GCSE and a top grade in additional maths.

My approach to teaching is tailored to each student to ensure that I create a comfortable and engaging learning environment where students can develop their confidence, learn in the most intuitive way for them, and feel able to ask questions when needed.
Although my explanation style and approach will vary, I ensure to use active learning strategies with students to aid in their understanding and long-term retention of the material. I use problem style questions to allow students to practise the application of their learning and develop their ability to recognise different topics in exam style questions.
I also provide exam technique tips and strategies, particularly helpful for GCSE level students.
