About Sydney
Hi! I’m Sydney, a Criminal Justice major at NCCU, and I love helping students grow their skills and confidence in spelling, reading, and writing. As a college student, I understand how challenging learning can feel, and I bring patience, encouragement, and real-world strategies to every lesson. I’m passionate about education and enjoy seeing students light up when they understand something new.
My teaching approach is personalized and engaging, combining review, guided practice, and fun activities to make learning clear and stress-free. I focus on helping students build confidence, develop strong study habits, and enjoy the process of learning. Each student’s success is my top priority, and I tailor lessons to their individual needs, strengths, and goals.

Hi! I’m Sydney, a Criminal Justice major at NCCU, and I offer online tutoring for K–12 students in spelling, reading, and writing. My teaching approach is patient, personalized, and engaging. I like to break down lessons into manageable steps so students feel confident and motivated as they learn.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review of previous material, followed by guided practice with spelling, reading comprehension, or writing exercises. I encourage students to ask questions and share their thoughts, then we end with a fun application activity or short quiz to reinforce learning.
