I'm Junyuan, a native Mandarin speaker from Shanghai, now living in the UK. With a BA in English and a Masters from the University of Liverpool, I'm bilingual and experienced at communicating across cultures through my international career in events and corporate environments. Really great teacher, super patient and explains the lessons and structure well. Highly recommend! Made me feel super comfortable as a beginner learner
Junyuan is a passionate teacher with a genuine ability to convey complicated Chinese dialects and linguistics in a manner and tone with which the student is comfortable. I have enjoyed my learning experience with Junyuan; he helped me to see my progression through a structured tutoring program, giving me confidence to continue. Junyuan is also an astute Chinese homemade cook; his hot pot is really tasty, yum yum yum.
Junyuan has been amazing in helping me get started and improve my Mandarin skills. I would highly recommend him! He has also been a major help with planning my China trip. He provided unique and in-depth knowledge of the Shanghai area and its history; I would have been lost without it.
Junyuan is a motivating tutor that illumined my understanding of languages as he tuned me in to the subtle and musical forms of speech and of keen expression of the Chinese language .
