I am a junior at the University of Michigan studying Data Science and Classical Civilizations. I work for the Michigan Men's DI Ice Hockey team as a data analyst and am a tour guide at the university. In my free time, I enjoy watching and playing sports like football and hockey, and am an avid chess player, although I am not very good :)

I like to follow a step-by-step methodology when teaching, to explore the 'how' and 'why' of each step. I believe this helps the tutee understand why t each part of a problem.
A typical lesson plan would begin with a brief discussion of topics you might need help with, followed by an overview of that topic, and then the completion of several different practice problems.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my experience getting tutored as a student myself! As a Junior in college, I constantly am getting help from professors and teaching assistants in my classes and I know what strategies work when I am looking for help. Thus, I can translate this experience and these proven strategies into my own tutoring.
