About Nicole
My name is Nicole Kennedy, and I am a 24-year-old online music tutor. I currently also work as a youth justice worker in Mountjoy, Dublin. I hold a Level 8 Bachelor’s Degree in Music from the University of Galway and a Master’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Limerick, achieving First Class Honors in both.
My musical achievements include receiving the 6th Year Music Prize at Rockwell College in 2020 for outstanding musical performance and achieving a H1 in Leaving Certificate Music. I have also completed Grade 8 Piano, Grade 8 Musical Theatre, and Grade 5 Violin, earning distinctions in each.
With over five years of teaching experience in piano, singing, and Junior and Leaving Certificate music tuition, I provide high-quality, personalized instruction tailored to each student's individual strengths, goals, and learning style.
I am deeply passionate about education and, in particular, the transformative value of music education. I strive to foster confidence, enjoyment, and musical understanding in every lesson, helping students of all abilities and experience levels reach their full potential while developing a genuine appreciation for music.

I offer weekly online music lessons (30-minute or 1-hour sessions) to help students prepare for the Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate Music exams.
Lessons can support and reinforce what students are already learning in school, or I can teach Music as an additional subject for students who are not studying it in school but wish to take the exam.
My teaching approach is supportive and tailored to each student's individual learning style and goals. Lessons are paced to build confidence, deepen understanding, and help students achieve their full potential.
Homework and additional practice materials can be provided if desired, with guidance and feedback to support steady progress between lessons.
