About Lily
I am an Australian cellist and teacher, and an alumna of the Juilliard School, the Royal College of Music, the Melbourne Conservatorium, and the Sydney Conservatorium. Alongside my performing career, I have over six years of teaching experience, working with students of all ages and levels. As an ABRSM Scholar and Artist, I prepare students for both ABRSM and AMEB examinations, while focusing on building strong technical foundations, musical confidence, and individual artistic voice. I am currently on trial as Co-Principal Cello with English National Opera (ENO) and a Fellow with Orchestra Victoria (OV) and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) in 2026. I am currently only accepting online students and will resume in-person teaching from July.

I am a dedicated and passionate Australian cellist with a Master’s in Music Performance from the Royal College of Music (RCM), where I was a full ABRSM Scholar. I am an alumna from both The Juilliard School and the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, having received scholarships at each institution. With over five years of teaching experience, I specialise in guiding students of all levels to develop strong technical foundations and a deeper understanding of musical interpretation. My training in solo, chamber, and orchestral performance from world-class institutions enables me to provide a well-rounded and inspiring learning experience.
