About Åsa Márgget
I am a traditional Sami yoiker and have taught yoik for over 20 years, at the cultural school and arranged various yoik courses for children, young people and adults. At university level, I have 15 credits in yoik, practical pedagogy 60 ECTS and supervision pedagogy 30 ECTS.

I start from the student's Sami background and what level you are at. Joik is an improvisational art form and means of communication. By learning yoik, you take a step inside the Sami and inside your Sami self with Sami joik singing.

Åsa er en der bevarer Nord Norsk Saami, på silkesprog og kender nuancerne som hun mestrer i.
Jeg kan anbefale henne på det varmeste da jeg har fått lære å kjenne henne godt de siste årene. Hun er trygg, betryggende, motiverende som person i seg selv, hun er faglig dyktig, besitter stor kompetanse og innsikt i pedagogisk tilnærming for læring. Hun gjør læring til en lek man opplever at man kan mestre! Hun vil gjøre enhver prosess til en eventyrlig reise :)
