About Sejal
I have always appreciated a good tutor who maintains a good balance between work and play and that’s the approach I bring to my sessions. Teaching is, of course, my top priority, but I believe that building a genuine connection with my students is just as important. When students feel comfortable with me, they’re more likely to open up about the concepts they don’t understand or the areas where they’re struggling. This creates a safe and supportive environment where learning can truly thrive.
For me, tutoring isn’t just about delivering lessons—it’s about understanding the individual needs of each student. By fostering a positive relationship, I can adapt my teaching style to suit their unique learning preferences. Whether it’s through humor, shared interests, or simply taking the time to listen, I aim to create a space where students feel at ease and engaged.
With this just a little about me - My name is Sejal and I am a student at Johns Hopkins University studying Economics and Applied Math and Statistics. I love to read write and swim and I can't wait to start tutoring you!

I was once just in your place, in need for a tutor. The bond that I had with my tutors was exceptional. I learned so much from them and it helped me so much. These lessons are for middle schoolers and high schoolers.
Conceptual Understanding First: I focus on helping students build a deep understanding of concepts rather than just memorizing formulas or procedures.
Active Engagement: I encourage students to actively participate by solving problems, asking questions, and explaining concepts in their own words.
I adapt my teaching style to the student's needs, pace, and learning preferences.
Math is a subject that can't be learned instantly. It takes practice. And I am willing to put in the effort to help you build those basic foundations and set you apart for future success.
