I’m Jodian Williams, an experienced English and reading tutor in the UK. I work with KS3 and KS4 students and have helped many improve their reading levels and GCSE English Language and Literature.

About Jodian
I am a dedicated and professional English and reading tutor with a strong commitment to helping students achieve their full potential. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Language Education and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and I have been teaching in the UK for the past 21 months.
Through my experience working with KS3 and KS4 students, including those with diverse learning abilities, I have developed effective strategies to improve reading levels, comprehension, and confidence. I also run my own tutoring business, where I focus on creating supportive and structured lessons that help students make meaningful progress.
I take pride in being patient, approachable, and reliable, and I work closely with students to ensure they feel supported, motivated, and confident in their learning. My goal is always to provide high-quality tutoring that leads to real improvement and long-term academic success.

My approach to tutoring is supportive, structured, and tailored to each student’s individual learning needs. I focus on building confidence while strengthening reading comprehension, vocabulary, and critical thinking skills through clear explanations, guided practice, and engaging activities.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, allowing time for teaching, practice, and feedback. I adapt each lesson to suit the student’s learning style to ensure steady progress.
